Eurofoam was founded in 1992 as a 50/50 joint venture between Greiner AG and Recticel S.A. Both companies have a long history in the polyurethane foam industry, which reflects their mutual commitment. Since its founding, Eurofoam has grown steadily, and today operates thriving businesses in 11 countries where foam production and conversion is carried out locally.

In June 2020, Greiner took over the 50% share from Recticel, and Eurofoam is now 100% owned by Greiner.
