Eurofoam expands production in Romania

Construction of a new long-block warehouse at the Eurofoam site in Sibiu, Romania, began in July this year.

Work is progressing on schedule so that the warehouse should be fully operational by March 2016.

This expansion, as part of a multiphase investment plan, is further evidence of Eurofoam’s strengthened focus on Southeast Europe.

The new warehouse, which covers an area of 3,500 m², will be fully automated and is designed to store 30 m and 60 m long blocks of polyurethane foam. It also includes a state-of-the-art cutting line for short blocks.

This expansion not only makes Eurofoam more flexible and able to deliver to the market faster, it will also help to strengthen the competitiveness.
